Christ Lutheran Church Preschool (CLCP) is a developmental, Christian-based program. The preschool program’s focus is child-centered with an emphasis on learning through play and self-discovery, encouraging curiosity, and assisting the child to develop a love of learning. Our 3-year-old classes meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and our 4-year-old classes meet three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We are a small program located in a residential neighborhood just one block from University of Mary Washington, with plenty of parking (both off- and on-street) and a fabulous playground.
We have two 4-year-old classes and two 3-year-old classes. Our 4-year-old classes are limited to 16 students with two instructors, while our 3-year-old classes allow for 12 students and two instructors. Our lead teachers hold degrees in education and provide a loving learning environment.
